2021 Equity Grant Recipients
Arts Ed Newark is an alliance of and for arts education champions. As a group, we advocate for high-quality arts ed equity for the whole city. We combine our voices from different sectors to demonstrate the connection between the arts and positive vision for Newark. Our alliance also provides capacity-building and resources for all of its members.
Sierra House Inc. is committed to improving the prospects of individual achievement for youth, low to moderate income families, and homeless young adults through housing, education, and community services, and thereby contributing to the long-term stability of our community.
Newark Science and Sustainability, Inc. is a community-driven, 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Newark, NJ that implements various initiatives to increase awareness of environmental, ecological, and wellness issues through educational programs and hands-on activities, such as gardens and urban farms.
